Aplus.Net’s New Web Mail System

What’s AJAX? Technically shorthand for "Asynchronous JavaScript and XML", AJAX is a recent development in web technology designed to enable more interactive applications. Minimum wage increase finally passes Congress

It’s official: Congress has passed, and President Bush has signed into law, the first federal minimum wage increase in a decade. Over the next two years, the minimum wage will be phased from $5.15 per hour to its new amount of $7.25.

As reported here earlier, Congress originally approved the bill months ago, but had to wait for it to be officially signed into law. The delay is because the wage increase had been lumped together with the new spending bill for the Iraqi war funding bill, a controversial piece of legislation that Democrats and Republicans have been sparring about throughout the winter and spring.
