MS SQL Programmer
Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Description

We are looking for an, MS SQL Programmer to maintain code and develop new functionality for internal customer relation management (CRM) software. Must have the ability to decipher current code, analyze current database design and enhance existing code to fix bugs and develop new functionality. Work with team members to resolve end user issues and provide functionality to internal staff. Strong verbal and written communication skills needed. The ability to function effectively in a high team work oriented environment.

Job Description:

• Familiarize with existing implementations of software and database design.
• Document all software functionality, existing and new.
• Design, develop and debug new functionality for existing software and new software
• Query existing database to build reports for management.
• Works with vendors, IT staff and network engineers to troubleshoot problems with applications.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Proven capability to develop, design and debug code.
• Solid understanding of MS SQL Server on a Microsoft platform.
• Solid understanding of RDBMS methodology and development experience.
• Experience with HTML and Javascript.
• Independent problem-solving, self-direction; ability to solve problems quickly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; self motivated and interacts positively with upper management.

Background and Skills:

• A minimum of 2 years experience developing software for the Microsoft platform
• A minimum of 2 years experience developing software to integrate with MS SQL server database
• BS degree in Computer Science or work related experience
