Support Technician I (shared)

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Primary function is support of our internet hosting customers in response to technical support, billing support, and all other inquiries via phone, e-mail, and our chat system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Help hosting customers solve web hosting issues (FTP, Email, DNS, Control Panel)

• Resolution of billing issues and answers billing related queries.

• Using the internal support ticketing system, escalate issues to the right person/department to ensure proper fix of issues.

• Notifying customers of resolutions, and documentation of all inquiries.

• Contribute writing to internal and customer knowledge system

EDUCATION: Some College Computer Science or work related experience

CERTIFICATION: NA

EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years call center and/or customer service experience as well as a strong interest in the Internet
