Purple Rain is a not-for-profit organization that provides support to teen girls who are currently in or have been involved in abusive relationships. Purple Rain is dedicated to supplying support through a twelve-month integrated curriculum by providing a safe haven where
girls from all walks of life can gather, share, and realize their options as they apply to relationships and their own lives.

Wanda Evans is the Founder and the Executive Director of Purple Rain. As an educator in Chicago Public School system, she has serviced at-risk children since 1997. Wanda wanted a web site to further promote Purple Rain’s mission, vision, and events to the public. Purple Rain serves as a safe haven and online community whereby the members of Purple Rain can stay connected while receiving additional support.
