Dear Aplus.Net: I would like to take this opportunity to let you and everyone reading this how terrific your web hosting is. As a business owner with almost one thousand websites, I know a thing or two about hosting providers. However, when I decided to host our two largest websites — www.search-for-servers.com, a process server directory, and www.quickrepo.com, a repo company directory — we originally chose a host that lured us in with great marketing. This company shall remain unnamed, but I will say that they are one of the largest hosting companies out there, with very well-known and prestigious clients. Based on their clients alone, we figured they must be good. Wow, we were seriously wrong about that. Probably because we were not a big-name company, we were pushed aside, our emails and phone calls went unanswered, and their billing department refused any sort of refunds though they were within their 'guaranteed time for refunds'. I want to express my appreciation for the policing your organization does on new registrations. Of course, working at a bank, I am well aware of the scourge of phishing, but I never gave any thought to how registering that many domains must have looked. It looked fishy to your security team, and the newly registered domains were shut down. Up to this, my attitude was that phishing was something that happens, and that we just have to react when we get hit by the bad guys. I want to take the time to thank two of your dedicated employees, Vince in sales and Andrey your project manager that helped me to build truckersadvocate.net web site. With all the companies to choose from seemingly offering similar services, I chose Aplus because of Vince. He returned my initial call and all subsequent calls promptly and was very courteous and calm at all times. A few times I called him because, to my own admission, I get a bit overly anxious about accomplishing things right away. He always helped and gave me a reassuring feeling things would work out just right. Now to Andrey -- the man that helped deliver the details that made my website just how I wanted. I counted close to 40 or so e-mails I sent this guy and he hung in there and made it all happen. The custom application with drop down menus and all the text fields was not an easy task and he worked hard to make it better than I had expected. This is a letter of recognition to your customer service employee, Steven Dine, and to your UNIX administrators. On June 3, 2005, Mr. Dine responded to our need for prompt service in helping to resolve a sticky situation regarding our ability to pass a server security test that was required by our merchant card service company (who processes our customer credit card transactions). We had recently transferred our Web hosting account to Aplus.Net because you professed a more secure server environment than our previous host. After we had made the move, we still failed to pass the scanning test initiated by our merchant card service company. I spoke to Mr. Dine and e-mailed him our "failed report summary". He forwarded it to the UNIX admin and they quickly drafted a detailed, comprehensive, and influential document that they forwarded to our merchant card company. The document addressed the security concerns point-by-point and was compelling in nature. Within an hour, our merchant card service company had overwritten their previous denial and issued us a passing grade and certificate of approval. If this issue had not been resolved quickly, we would have lost the ability to process customer credit card transactions resulting in serious consequences for our business. Thank you! Maybe I'm being over thankful, but with no military background, I believe that when parachuting out of a chopper from 1500 feet in the dead of night over some mountains in the northern section of Afghanistan with a small laptop, a compass, some night vision goggles, and a knife is the best part of the day ..... I am once again amazed at your service desk people and how helpful they are. I work 2 1/2 hours from my home and I only come home on the weekends. I just signed up with Aplus.Net this week and did the sign up while I was at work. I came off for home, and left all my information in a folder laying on my desk at work. I had two choices. I could drive all the way back to work and get the folder so I could log in to my Aplus.Net account at home, or call some one at the service desk and offer to give them a box of Snickers bars if they would give me my account number, USER ID and password so I could work at home. I was fortunate enough to get Will on the phone and within seconds he had an email on the way to me with all my account information. I really appreciated his carefulness with security and telling me that he would be sending me the information in an email rather than giving it to me over the phone. WOW!!!! You guys are good. Anyone could call up and ask for that information if you just gave it out over the phone. Thank you Will for making me feel even more secure with Aplus.Net He said he could not accept the box of snickers bars so I offered to send this letter in his behalf to let you know what a great job he is doing. Seriously. you have found a group of service desk people that are so helpful. Surely you must have one person that is cranky and rude.... But if you do I certainly have not met any of them yet. (They all work for the competition so you don't have to worry). Thanks to Will for bailing me out and saving me a 5 hour drive tonight. It is my understanding that you are a manager for support services. My name is Angelo Paul Grello and I am a web designer/developer. I have been a customer of Aplus’ for a couple of years and have quite a few accounts set up with your organization, along with countless referrals. Over the years I have had to deal with your support staff on many occasions. Most of the calls were related to errors I created on my end with a handful on your side. On each one, (the support calls) your team resolved the matter quickly. I will always expect that as a customer, as my demands are quite high. I have found out the hard way that a web hosting service should be judged and valued by the support team behind it. With all of that said, the following incident is the main reason I am and always will be an Aplus.Net customer.
With out getting into all of the minute details, I set up a windows base sever plan a few weeks a go and ran into some real issues with bringing over a domain name transfer along with active mail. I set this account up for a client who could not afford a burp in his e-mail based upon the nature of his business. Due to some set up errors I made on my side (again, I call ‘em like I see ‘em) the account virtually crashed. To make things even more ugly, the name servers where still pointing to my clients old web hosting company. The client I’m speaking of could keep me in business for years. I worked very hard to land this account. It goes without saying, my client was loosing his mind when he found out both his website and his e-mail were down. I assured him that Aplus.Net would have it resolved within twenty-four hours. He responded that it has always been his experience with his old web hosting company that this type of issue would take several days to resolve. He also made threats to go back to his old service, but decided to give me the twenty-four hours time to see what happened.
Enter into the picture the Aplus.Net Support Team, namely Shaun [] & Vassil []. It was though their outstanding knowledge and diligence that all of the issues were resolved in few short hours. My client was elated, I was elated and things are running smooth. I would like to get word through to both of these gentlemen by way of your management that they have more than made my day with their “Outstanding Service”. Please let them know that their level of performance is more than recognized on this side, it’s reveled! Shaun & Vassil have done their job well! I would also appreciate if you could post this letter to the highest level of management your channels can obtain.
By the way, my client would like me to begin the process of transferring his seventeen other web accounts over to the Aplus.Net Servers!!! J

that it was just a breath of fresh air to have Justin help me. [My previous
phone company] decided on their own that I didn't need DSL anymore, and

Aplus.Net issues a static IP so it turned out to be a bit different [than
my previous provider]. Didn't know a lot about them but have to hand it
to
them...they stuck with it and got it switched over. All in all, a great
experience. These guys seem to know what they're doing. Finally. An ISP

ISPs, I chose Aplus.Net. I chose the unlimited plan. I had top quality connections,
never had a problems with both channels connecting. My bandwidth on demand
kicked in instantly as I am used to with UUNET, and I was achieving 15KB/s
on my RT328. That's the highest I can get on that router on binaries. The
NY area I am in has 11 dial-in numbers in different areas! Great company.

| Well, I mostly play online multiplayer
games (quake, quake2, starcraft, etc.) I have been using Aplus.Net for close
to 6 months or so, and before this I have tried most of the San Diego ISP's
(started on the net with AOL, Earthlink, CTS) when your playing "twitch"
games like quake or other shooters, the lower the ping makes a HUGE difference
with game play, even a 20-50ms higher ping is incredibly noticeable. And
Aplus.Net has given me the best pings, and I have been incredibly happy
with the service. I have recommended Aplus.Net to friends just getting on
the net. I have received great support (really fast replies to emails and
billing questions) and awesome service. Aplus.Net is the best dialup provider
